To be honest. The demo is actually better than plain old Arma 2. The friendly bots are still stupid though:) The game "looks" better and maintains a higher FPS than ARMA II. Don't ask me how, just know that it does:)
Not sure it would be worth getting the whole game, but I do like it better than Arma 2 for sure. The "thermal" scope and M107 scopes look unrealistic, but everything else in the game makes up for that little issue. Bots still don't listen worth a dam, or did I already mention that:)
All in all... better than Arma II.
Note: If Snowman (thanks Snow) had not already "gifted" ArmaII to me, I would have been interested in getting Arrowhead. If you don't already have Arma II, please by all means jump on Arrowhead instead. Definitely the better of the two games. |

| I have both ArmA 2 and Operation Arrowhead on Steam. I'm not sure about getting it to install as combined ops... I'm using a modified windows configuration file to launch ArmA 2 as a mod under Arrowhead. Other than that, it's a great (although overpriced) expansion. With the British Forces DLC coming out in August, I'd reckon that I'm going to be spending more money than I intended this summer. Ah well... the downfalls of gaming with a mainly UK-based clan. |
