On Friday, January 23, 2009, Project Reality publicly released its latest version: PRv0.856. It features several new factions, maps, weapons, effects, and changes to gameplay. |

"...the last news post was on December 29, 2007 ...one entire year since anybody posted anything newsworthy on the front page." This was the concern of many TF21 members who observed a sharp drop-off in news postings which are normally updated at least twice or three times per year but didn't receive any updates in 2008. A recent study at the John Hopkins Center for Apathy suggested the world's economic downturn was to blame while others pointed to global warming. When asked to comment, a man identifying himself as Rico "TK" Suave would only say, "Dats BULLSHIT!!!" |

The Developers of Project Reality have opened a new section of their forums that is a compilation of new aspects of PR they are working on. The journal consists of some really cool things that are upcoming and/or completed work. Whether it be mapping, coding, or modeling it will be in there. Get the information right from the source. The Project Reality Team has released an open beta for 0.6. This is NOT a release and WILL allow you to play normal Project Reality as well as the Open Beta. The goal of the Open Beta is: 1. Stress Test 2. Play Test 3. Buy the PR team time to fix bugs they already know about. So in other words go stress it, test it, and purchase shares of PR stock. All troops stand fast on present location! Task Force XXI is hosting our first Battlefield Cooperative: War Games. Many of you veterans I'm sure are familiar with this activity that was a standard operation amongst 201st. We're taking it a step further and opening it to all clans within Project Reality.
